There Will Be Peas
February 25th, 2007I was looking at Davey today, as he took a five minute catnap on my shoulder, and thought to myself how fast time is flying by already. It was just yesterday that I was taking preggo pictures in the bathroom mirror with my cell phone camera, wasn’t it? Feels like just last week we were still in Georgia getting ready to move back to New York. And, wasn’t it the previous month that Olivia and I attended Thinking Day, dressed up in traditional Indian garb?
Before I know it Davey will be walking, talking and climbing. Before we know it we’ll have to worry about the fallen penny or magnetix on the floor. Before they know it the kids will be including their tiny brother in their games and play. Before he knows it [Davey] will be throwing food off his high chiar, to the dogs.
And, just as when the other three were toddlers, there will be peas! There will be peas between my toes and I will look at my youngest and say, “Davey, eat your peas!”
