Thank You Michael Bublé
It’s one of those days. You know the kind, if you’re a mother. You’re awoken by a baby banging on your head, pulling your hair, and poking your eyes with his interrogative index finger. The kind of day where he fights every nap and when he’s finally fallen asleep, he won’t let you put him down. Then you finally get him down the small dog starts barking which prompts the big dog to bark. You know; one of those days.
I really don’t know how we’ve managed to get through lessons this morning, but we have. I’m thankful that the kids worked and didn’t pose any big problems about it. I don’t know if I could have had that kind of day mixed with one of these that I’m having with Mr. Clingy Pants.
You’re probably asking why I thanked Michael Bublé in my post’s title, right? Well, without him and his song “Everything”, I would not have been able to get Mr. C.P., whom is currently curled up on my shoulder, to sleep. I have this song on repeat play and it’s comforted him enough to finally sink into a sweet slumber. It could be the Hyland’s Teething Tablets, too. Which reminds me! I have to get some more as he just had the last three.
While composing I got a phone call and was finally able to put him down after. Ahhhh… When he wakes up, I’m taking the kids out for lunch. I can’t even think about cooking right now. I know some will squawk for Burger King but I’m thinking MEXICAN!!! I was thinking Taco Bell b/c of A Whole Lot of Nothing’s last blogpost but I’m gonna upgrade and go to the little local Mexidive! Mmmmmmm… I wonder if they’d make me a margarita, to go!? Won’t hurt to ask, right?

You are the 3rd person today to mention Taco Bell and I can’t take it any more! It has been more than a month since I have had any TB and it is killing me!
RUN FOR THE BORDER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Update to my post:
Took the kids to the local Mexidive and it was great. Only $5 more than I would’ve spent at the Mexican Phone Co. and we had unlimited chips and yummy salsa.. I opted not to get the margarita to go but I will be making some this weekend as I remembered that I have tequila in the cupboard.
I love that song too. As a matter of fact, it is the ring tone that plays when my hubby calls. Ohhhhh how sweeeeeet.
.oO I might have to change my hubby’s ring tone to that one.. Right now it’s Beyonce’s ‘Crazy Love’.
