The lovely Serina over at Laugter, Love, and Madness tagged me for the “5 Interesting Factoids You Didn’t Know About Me” Meme. It’s gonna be tough, but I think I can come up with something.
- When I was in 4th grade my paternal grandfather, in Macedonia, was very sick with cancer. My parents pulled me out of school for a month and we went over to visit him for what was probably the last time. When I came back, my very first day back to school, the class was working on essays for “Author of the Week”. They had been working on their essays for the whole week. I came in and in one hour put my essay together. One week later the principal came in and announced that I had been chosen as “Author of the Week”. All my classmates were pissed, to say the least. I still have that clipping in one of my photo albums!
- My grandmother made my prom dress. I told her exactly what I wanted and she made it. I didn’t have to worry about anyone having a dress just like mine!
- In 2003 I went on the Atkins Diet and by 2004 I had lost a total of 70lbs. Low carb eating is really good for my body type but I haven’t been able to get back to it.
- I love skirts. I very rarely wear pants and when I do they are usually dress slacks. I currently do not have one pair of pants that I like. So, most days I am in a skirt.
- I’ve gone to a few psychics in my life. Two of them were so good and right on, it was spine chilling. The last one I went to was with one of my best friends, Shelley. Her name was Ellie and the reading was so intense, so right on, that I cried at the end. She told me things that would happen that have. She told me about my kids and she told me that there was another boy (the baby) on the way. Everything -I mean EVERYTHING- that Ellie said was right.

One of my sisters would so totally be your best friend if you went to a psychic with her. She LOVES that stuff (not that she does it herself though)!
Love the “Author of the Week” story… I’d save that glory story, too!
Hmm… off to think about what I should write now. Not sure if I have any “interesting” factoids! ;P

I love pants. I really don’t like dresses. I only own two. I own no skirts whatsoever. I think it has to do with the fact that my bum is two sizes larger than the rest of me…try fitting a dress with that body!lol
