Live Blogging Friday
Today, you get some Live Blogging! Starting with late last night:
11:00pm – Kissed Michael goodnight after watching Jericho! We’re on episode 9 and have 13 to go. You should catch up and watch the new season. I recommend, highly.
12:35am – Davey woke up and cried.
1:05am – Still crying
2:35am – Sleeping and Crying, all at the same time. :(
3:00am – Finally asleep.
Sometime between 3:00am and 5:00am he came in the bed with Michael and I.
7:15am – Davey up and fairly happy until the booger sucker emerged. He wouldn’t take a bottle. One does of decongestant administered, and he received a Vick’s rub!
8:30am – Very unhappy. Hungry but not taking bottle.
10:00am – Falls asleep in Papa’s arms
10:30am – Mama and Baby attempt to lie down. Baby cries. Mama settles.
10:50am – Sitting on the couch, he managed to eat some oatmeal mixed with apple juice.
11:00am – Took about 4oz of formula.
11:05am – Baby threw up all of it. :(
11:06am – Mama and Baby take a shower
11:20am – Baby hums Thomas the Tank Engine song. Big brother Mikey puts on James and the Red Balloon. He sits in playpen and chills out.
11:40am- He’s still happy and I’m drinking some coffee. Hopefully he’ll eat some more cereal in a bit and go down for nap, a good nap.

12:10pm- Davey ate some bananas mixed with applesauce and pears.
12:20pm- He chilled in my arms and fell asleep
12:50pm- I put him in his crib and laid down in my bed.
2:45pm- We woke up without big crying.
2:55pm- I fed him some cereal mixed with formula.
3:15pm – Everyone fed (leftover chicken enchiladas, leftover chili over rice and/or corn bread, and turkey/cream cheese roll ups)
4:00pm – Mama and Baby share a piece of corn bread
4:05pm – Bugger sucker emerges, baby cries.
4:10-5:05pm- Davey played for a bit while watching some Baby Einstein.
5:10pm- Trying to get some liquid into him. Poor guy won’t drink much b/c he can’t breath.
6:35pm- Papa and kids make popcorn and eat it up while Mama and Baby lie down on couch. Baby falls asleep.
7:30pm-8:30pm – Baby sleeps in crib.

The rest of the night was pretty much the same. Sleeping in our arms, us watching some more Jericho, sleeping in his crib. He still won’t eat a lot but I’m trying to get an ounce or two of liquid in him, at a time. It’s 2:45am and I’m about to give him some more Infant Dimatapp. It’s been helping him a lot today. Pee-pee diapers are still there and no fever. Poor baby.

Wait. Did you say Jericho? Where are you watching it? Is the new season on yet? When does it come on? My husband will lose his ever-lovin mind if we miss this season. He was so mad when they talked about cancelling it last season!

sorry you had a rough night and the little one is sick…it will get better. Have you tried that bath stuff at all, soothing….can you tell my baby years are long gone?
Teens is my zone now.
Hope baby feels better soon, some Thomas the Tank engine always helped my little guys when they were young, and you know my 2yo nephew is hooked on it too…nice to see a long lasting show…I also found out I need to buy my teens Veggietales on DVD now, they miss the shows & movies.

I hope he feels better and you get a nap today! We have a hospital grade boogy sucker (thank goodness for that thing). He still hates it though
Sleeping Mommy: First season is out on DVD. We are watching them from the ‘net. Second season starts some time in January.
Penelope Anne: Baths are a ritual at night, for us, but he did have one today (after he puked on us).
Stephanie: Ours is hospital grade, too!
LOVE LOVE LOVE Jericho. One of the few shows Pup & I agree on. It’s amazingly good, no??
And, Davey!! Be good for momma!
It’s better than amazingly good!! I, of course, am crushing on Jake. LOL
Oh and I just told Davey that Miss AFF said to be good and he said he will! :)
Sorry he is sniffly. Hope ya both get some decent rest tonight.
Hey everyone! Thanks for all the comments and well wishes. Davey slept well last night and today he’s even taken a few ounces, here and there. Right now he’s enjoying a piece of bread!
