Weekend Update & Monday Festivus

I think it’s bad that I don’t really remember anything about the weekend, other than taking care of the baby. This head cold zapped him bad. He barely ate, he cried a lot, he was clingy, he slept rather poorly, puked up bottles a lot, and he was attacked by the booger suckers (more than a few times). The first sucker, the original, broke at the seam. Papa and the kids went out to lunch and errands and luckily found another one that is hospital grade. I remember having one that wasn’t and it was a waste of the couple bucks that I paid for it.

Michael and I finished watching Jericho. NUTS! That’s all I have to say about that. Now, I can’t wait for the mini-season coming in January.

What else? Hmmm… We had Dairy Queen for dinner yesterday. I went through the drive-thru. It was the first time that I ventured out all weekend, too. There were five different girls giving me various parts of my order. They were all bopping around, bantering loudly, dropping stuff on the floor, slipping on the freshly mopped areas, and just being complete imbeciles. So-much-so, that they forgot to take my credit card. So-much-so, that I forgot to give them my credit card. You know what, though.. For all the times that we are shorted on food, for all the times that we overpay things at the store or at restaurant, for all the times that mistakes are made that affect us negatively, I didn’t go back to pay. I’m sure someone in the blogosphere is chastising me right now. Me, I’m just looking at it as it was my lucky day. It was the fast food gods saying, “Mishelle, you’ve had a horrible weekend. You’ve had little sleep. You’ve eaten cold meals. You’ve been a trooper Mama. So, here…here’s a meal on us!”

Now I have to iron a uniform. Michael’s off to work today. This Monday is not my favorite day.

Oh, we have the crud here too. Both kids are sick. I wanted to spend today and tomorrow running errands and cleaning house. Looks like I’ll be entertaining two sick children though. I have to say they handle being sick better than I ever have though!

Hope the munchkin gets better fast.

P.S. I would have done the same at Dairy Queen. :)

I am sure that ‘free’ order barely covered the cost of all the food the forget (always on the days when you don’t have time to go all the way back).

    Send wellness wishes your way.

Haha, my hubby would have done the same. I would have freaked lol. Too funny. Free food is ALWAYS a good thing! Sorry to hear about the sickies… I hope he feels better really soon. Poor mama and baby!

  4. I hope you guys are all better soon. Sick sucks big donkey balls. We were sick the whole darn weekend, too. We didn’t even leave the house pretty much the whole time, either.

Jericho? Yah. Crazy, no? The head of Homeland Security? WHOO that man is EEEvil! And, the nuke? What is gonna happen to the nuke??

    AFF/Jericho talk:

I was just so mad that Johnston died. So mad. I was wiping the tears away with my sheet and Michael was giggling at me. When he was talking to Eric and Jake, I about lost it.

My favorite storyline is that of Stanley and Mimi. I think I am in love with Stanley. Better yet, Michael is Stanley and I am Mimi, except I’m not skinny and I’ve never worked for the Federal Government. LOL

I can’t wait to see what happens to Mr. EEEvil and what Hawkins does with the nuke.

I also can’t wait to see how Jake kills that effer Constantino.

Oh God, I could go on and on… banter back and I’ll be sure to follow!!
