January 2005 at the [Kolede] at our church.
The bonfire is celebrating Orthodox New Year.
The Macedonian Orthodox Church continues to celebrate
its feasts and holidays in accordance with the Julian calendar.

I didn’t know there was a separate Macedonian Orthodox Chuch? I think most of the Eastern Orthodoxies use the Julian. It’s about a week different, right?

AFF: Yup, the Macedonian Orthodox Church has it’s own archdiocese and bishop. Christmas is on January 7th and ONY is on the 14th. Easter’s usually a week later, sometimes two..
