These Monday Mornings
They suck.
They suck when you have to say goodbye.
They suck when you have a crying baby, who hates the car.
They suck when you choose the wrong words to express yourself.
They suck when you realize that you are torn inside.
They suck when your bloated and crampy.
They suck when you pity yourself.
They suck when you feel this way.
They just suck.
I’m human, though.
Monday mornings, that suck, remind me of it.

“They just suck” is right. Blah.
Up to 3 months ago, when my boss mercifully laid me off (it’s a blessing in disguise…), I hated Mondays, too.
You know what else sucks? Accidentally setting your alarm to “seagulls” so you wake up on Monday morning thinking there’s a flock of birds getting ready to attack you.

I agree Monday’s do suck but without them, then Tuesday’s would suck. So I guess we’re kinda stuck!! ;)
Things will right themselves. But, it just seems like crap on top of crap today. Things will be better. Ben and Jerry’s said so.
Monday doth suckage no matter what…I think I could take Tuesday morning better if I had three days off in a row…

Yeah they suck….for me it was frozen pipes this morning in the laundry room…I hate Mondays, but we can’t get rid of them…sort of like the kids…you just have to deal ;)
Can you tell the kids have tested my patience today too?

I actually had a pretty good Monday, sorry to shine sun on everyone’s rain parade. Of course, a lot can happen in the next few hours. Oh, like homework. Or dinner. Or dog walking. Or…
I don’t want to curse myself. Mondays suck. You’re all right.

The rest of the day’s been fine. The baby napped. The kitchen got cleaned. We had a nice dinner. I have a treat for my sweet tooth.
Tomorrow should be a much better day. I hope. ;)
