Haiku Friday
Procrastination
I have so much to do and
Yet I sit and drink
Four cups of coffee
Hoping it will pump me up
To start and finish
Jobs that are at hand
Bathrooms, kitchen, my bedroom
All need to be cleaned
Then I look around
And realize it’s not bad
Just my OCD
I want to impress
They’re coming to our new house
I want it to shine
It’ll all get done
Even though now I sit here
Procrastination

Smile and show off the kids. They’ll ignore anything left undone when you shove Davey at them.

I think you should join CyProWriMo. Then you’d feel VALIDATED in your procrastination. Just a thought. Liked the haiku. Don’t work too hard!

Loved your Haiku, Mishelle. :)
When I sat down during lunch break at school, I jotted down some possible Haiku topics and second from the top was “Procrastination”. So . . . I’ll have to use that theme, about which I am so knowledgeable, sometime, too. :)
