Thirteen Christmas Quotes That Touch My Heart
Christmas waves a magic wand over this world, and behold, everything is softer and more beautiful.
~Norman Vincent Peale
The best of all gifts around any Christmas tree: the presence of a happy family all wrapped up in each other.
~Burton Hillis
Never worry about the size of your Christmas tree. In the eyes of children, they are all 30 feet tall.
~Larry Wilde
Christmas is forever, not for just one day, for loving, sharing, giving, are not to put away like bells and lights and tinsel, in some box upon a shelf. The good you do for others is good you do yourself.
~Norman Wesley Brooks
Perhaps the best Yuletide decoration is being wreathed in smiles.
~Author Unknown
This is the message of Christmas: “We are never alone.”
~ Taylor Caldwell
When we recall Christmas past, we usually find that the simplest things – not the great occasions – give off the greatest glow of happiness.”
~ Bob Hope
The joy of brightening other lives, bearing each others’ burdens, easing other’s loads and supplanting empty hearts and lives with generous gifts becomes for us the magic of Christmas.”
~ W. C. Jones
What is Christmas? It is tenderness for the past, courage for the present, hope for the future. It is a fervent wish that every cup may overflow with blessings rich and eternal, and that every path may lead to peace.
~Agnes M. Pharo
The only blind person at Christmastime is he who has not Christmas in his heart.
~Helen Keller

~Dale Evans
A Christmas candle is a lovely thing;
It makes no noise at all,
But softly gives itself away;
While quite unselfish, it grows small.
~Eva K. Logue
I heard the bells on Christmas day
Their old familiar carols play
And mild and sweet the words repeat,
Of peace on earth, good will to men.I thought how as the day had come,
The belfries of all Christendom
Had roll’d along th’ unbroken song
Of peace on earth, good will to men.And in despair I bow’d my head:
“There is no peace on earth,” I said,
“For hate is strong, and mocks the song
Of peace on earth, good will to men.”
~Henry Wadworth Longfellow

[it begins to snow again]
Bert: [shouts] Hey, George! George! You all right? Hey, what’s the matter?
George Bailey: Now get outta here, Bert, or I’ll hit you again! Get outta here!
Bert: What the sam hill you yellin’ for, George?
George Bailey: You…
[suddenly stunned]
George Bailey: George… Bert? Do you know me?
Bert: Know you? Huh. You kiddin’? I’ve been looking all over town trying to find you. I saw your car plowed into that tree down there and I thought maybe you – hey, your mouth’s bleeding. Are you sure you’re all right?
George Bailey: What the…
[licks the corner of his lip and checks his mouth with his hand]
George Bailey: Ha, ha, ha, ha! My mouth’s bleeding, Bert! My mouth’s bleeding! Zuzu’s petals… Zuzu…
George Bailey: [checking his pocket] There they are! Bert, what do you know about that! Merry Christmas!
Dammit, I’m crying just thinking about that scene. Oh, and when everyone comes over and that hot bitch Donna Reed starts crying… DAMMIT.
