Project 365 (138/365)

Stop, TV Time!

Life without TV is actually blissful. I recommend it.

It’s the menace that everyone loves to hate but can’t seem to live without.

And it really helps that there’s nothing much on anymore except cheese ball reality tv.

TV is like chocolate – too much is bad for you, but in moderation, it’s SPECTACULAR! ;)

    You ARE on TV, WOW!!

We did 6 months no TV. I quite enjoyed it.

Then I went away for three weeks. My husband brought back the TV while I was gone, and it’s been in full effect ever since. Ah, well.

  6. I see you in there. Knock knock. I so do! Did you get the email I sent you? I hadn’t heard back & wondered.

unfortunately, i think my husband would drop dead without tv and, seeing that he doesn’t have great life insurance…it stays on!!!

We got rid of our extended cable (to save some $$). So all we have are the basic channels. I watch SO much less, and yes it is nice. I was worried that I would have a hard time with out my TLC or HGTV, but I never ever think about it and don’t miss them. In fact, we reinstated cable for a few months last year and, when I turned on my favorite old shows, I was shocked to see reruns of shows that I watched years ago. I was bored and we again disconnected the cable.

Not sure we will ever go back. Hubby really misses ESPN though…

Nuh-uh! I gotta have some TV in the evening so I can completely veg out and fall asleep on the couch, then have my husband yell at me to go to bed, then I say, “No! I wasn’t sleeping!”, even though I was. It’s like a ritual or something.

You’re so adorably creative. Great picture.
I actually lived for 2 years in college without TV. It was bliss. Then for some reason my parents bought me a TV… weird.
I think DH would expire without the Outdoors network and the hunting channel. LOL ;-)

lol you just need some good shows lol! I usually don’t watch TV during the day unless I’m crafting.

Unfortunately, when I’m not watching TV, I’m not exercising either. lol

The writers strike may be one of the best things to happen for American family life in years.
