Melissa at Such Simple Pleasures and Coleen at Manners and Moxie have introduced a new “meme“. Basically, you just go back in your archives, dig up an old blog post, and post it. My first one is a poem. Hope you enjoy this flash back in time.

Intersecting Beams of Light
There are people that come into your life and you don’t even notice.
Then there are those that come into your life with a spotlight shining on them.

There are times when it’s dark with no hope of illumination,
Times when it’s dim with no hope of radiance.

There are moments in our being that should be forgotten.
Then moments we have that our heart leads us to remember.

Then there are my times with you.
These are the times I live for, be they dull or blindingly bright.

The spotlight shining, the hopeful light, the remembrance;
They are all of you.
