Scrolling Saturday IV
S C R O L L I N G S A T U R D A Y
Melissa at Such Simple Pleasures and Coleen at Manners and Moxie have this really cool “meme“. You go back in your archives, dig up an old blog post, repost it, and let it get some new love! This week I picked something that reinforces my relationship with my husband, because we are apart a lot, one bolt at a time.
I Noticed!
written: February 26th, 2007
I noticed that you fixed the tea kettle and it really made me smile. So, while you are often gone, fulfilling your dreams, providing for us, making us proud, I want you to know that a little thing, such as the tightened screw of a tea kettle, allows me to continue to follow my dreams of being your wife—forever!
I just wanted you to know that I love you.

Aw, that’s sweet! Can I give you a little list of things I need done to pass along as if they were for you, but not tell that really they’d be for me?
That is so true! The other morning Hubby got up early, shoveled the driveway & took out the trash. My heart fluttered!!!
That’s sweet. It really is the little things, though, isn’t it?
AwWww! SO sweet! Thanks for sharing it! Those things are what make it all worth it, huh?!?
That is awesome! Isn’t it always the little things that make a relationship? That was great. Thanks!
i totally love that.
Aww…that gave me warm fuzzies :)
Wow, that is so affirming!! :)
It’s the little things that mean the most. Well said!
that is so sweet!!!
So sweet. :)
Usually I’m up first and make the first pot of coffee. I’m really touched when Rick gets up quietly first, and then brings me that precious first cup of coffee (sometimes with a chocolate). :)
it truly is the little things isn’t it? GREAT post!
happy SS
Why did that almost make me cry??
That is so sweet!
The little things mean the very most. Anyone can go to a jewelry store, but not every guy does those special little things that make you know you’re the girl who matters the most to him.
I love this…you are right, it is the simple things that mean so much!
Very sweet! And it was so great of you to “publicly” notice. I’m sure he appreciated that! :)
Poetry, baby!
That’s a really sweet story. I imagine it’s quite hard to have him gone so much.
