The Weekend Run Down
First weekend in February! One of my favorite months because it’s short and because of the way it’s spelled: Feb-RU-ary!
Here’s the run down:
- 8 hours of sleep from Saturday to Sunday
- 7 loads of laundry completed
- 6 meals prepared at home &; 6 more weeks of winter
- 5 fights between siblings; 5 conversations with parental units
- 4 kids accompany Mama to pick up Papa
- 3 phone calls with one friend; 3 ice-cream sandwiches
- 2 cups of coffee on Sunday morning
- 1 slipper finally cleaned up by 1 boy; 1 strand of Christmas lights finally taken down from porch; 1 guilty admission from 1 child; 1 baby with a runny, icky nose &; 1 happy family–now that Papa is home
