H A I K U F R I D A Y

haiku.jpg

Times of joy turn sad
When future plans become dim
Sadness overtakes

Times of hope darken
Breath taken, taken away
Love rallies around

Times of happiness
Of lullabies and sweetness
Replaced by mourning

These are the times when
While we don’t know the answers
We keep on searching

These are the times when
Tiny, special angel wings
Are wrapped around you

——————-

Last night we learned that our friends lost their son, upon his birth.
This Haiku is in his honor; in their honor.
