One Word | One Song
I am “borrowing” this from Huckdoll, who “borrowed” it from Jenty.
Define Me.
One word in the comments section. No explanation necessary. Be nice, though.

This one is “borrowed” from Serina via Fun Monday’s host: The Crown Princess.
The assignment:
Music plays a vital role in most of our lives. It is everywhere. I want to hear the ONE song that is you. The song that whenever it is heard, you smile. I am not looking for the soundtrack of your life, just that one song. Your friends hear it and think of you. You can post the video, the lyrics, the wav file. However you want to post it is great.

I couldn’t narrow it down to just one song, sorry.. So, one song for my youth…and one for my old age!! LOL

The first word that came to mind: deliberate
Song: A pirate looks at 40 (Jimmy Buffet)
*I’m not quite 40, but I can see it on the horizon. :)
…
Yes I am a pirate, two hundred years too late
The cannons don’t thunder, there’s nothin’ to plunder
I’m an over-forty victim of fate
Arriving too late, arriving too late
I’ve done a bit of smugglin’, I’ve run my share of grass
I made enough money to buy Miami, but I pissed it away so fast
Never meant to last, never meant to last
And I have been drunk now for over two weeks
I passed out and I rallied and I sprung a few leaks
But I got stop wishin’, got to go fishin’
Down to rock bottom again
Just a few friends, just a few friends

So glad you participated. Gave me warm fuzzys, Mishi. And, know what? I wasn’t allowed to listen to Madonna. Daddy thought she was a trollop (well, she was!). And, I agree. That was some transition.

Well, since this is my first visit to your blog I doubt you want me to just pull a random word out of thin air to describe you. I’ll be back to visit so if you ask this of us again I can come up with something.
I love both of your song choices.

Both excellent choices…I can definitely relate to Madonna’s “Vogue” as a glimpse into my old self – and Dave Grohl is one of my favs…however, I have never visited your blog before this Fun Monday – so is “intriguing” a good enough word?
