F U N M O N D A Y – Laughing all the way
SayreSmiles’, today’s Fun Monday Hostess, drive to work never fails to produce a giggle for her, and it inspired this week’s Fun Monday Challenge: Take your camera with you as you go about your business and take a picture of the things that make you laugh along the way.
I had every intention of taking the camera with me to find some funny things on our outing. Alas, I forgot it, so I snapped two pictures with my camera phone that I thought would be great for today’s Fun Monday.
The first: a crawfish with a chef hat and a bottle of wine. I thought it was pretty funny!

The second: A sign outside of the local high school. Look, they are actually warning the students!

At least it doesn’t say “Speed Humps Ahead” which is what our say. Teenagers are probably already too well aquainted with speed humps…
Love the crawdad!

I took it as a warning for life. Lots of bumps in the road ahead of them…

When we were first married my hubby drove over a speed bump really fast – we practically flew – and when I inquired he said it didn’t hurt the cars. Fast forward a few years and I’m driving and don’t slow down for the speed bump. He’s all in a tizzy spatting thing like suspension and such so I bring up his earlier incident and he admits he was just joking with me back then! Can you say fish hook? He got me.

I pass a “Speed Humps Ahead” sign on my way to work. My friends used to tease me for saying that. Now I know I wasn’t crazy – even the sign making people don’t all call them speed bumps.
