Project 365 (201/365)
Today was Olivia’s first soccer practice. Her coach seems like a very nice man, and I even had an easy flowing conversation with another mom. Love that!
I guess this proves one thing: I’m a *gasp* Soccer Mom.
Tomorrow, we buy cleats.

Ay yai! You not get it. You soccer mom now. If you not fit in, then Bobby not fit in. And that boy have enough problems.

Jackie is joining soccer tots. I’m gonna be a soccer mom, too. Woot! Woot!

Amen, and me, too!
A helpful hint from one newbie soccer mom to another: leave room for the socks and soccer socks when you buy the cleats! Did I? Of course not!

Whoop! Welcome to the club… even if I can manage to get both of my kids over and done with this addiction, the Hubs decided he can’t get enough and became a licenced referee. Be afraid, be very afraid…. =) My14 yo plays six-a-side, mygirl plays college intramurals… I just sit on the side and swear at the refs, that’s the best part.

Soccer is the most awesome sport ever! Welcome to the club ;)

I feel so guilty. I was secretly THRILLED when Dylan gave up all his organized sports because he liked his part-time job better. Maybe I don’t have any cute and amazing pictures of him as a Sandwich Artist at Subway, but I also don’t have to spend a couple hours sitting in one of those horrible uncomfortable fold up chairs in front of a game I don’t understand.
There goes my Mother of the Year nomination….again!

And a hot soccer mom at that!

I envy you the “easy flowing conversation” I would love to make connections with some of the parents I see all the time at sports etc. But more often than not I would be more ‘comfortable’ in the car listening to the radio. I need to step up and step out of my comfort zone. But damn I suck at that.
