Just Clicking

Here’s what happens when I just click without thinking too much about composition, exposure, and all that other good photographic stuff! I like to do this often. Thank God for the digital age!!

Iam a firm believer in the theory that inside EVERY photograph, there is a better one. Find them. I know you can.

See, that’s pretty much all I know about how to take pictures - nothing about any of that fancy stuff I’ve never learned (and I don’t think my camera really allows anyway) - and that’s exactly why I, too, *love* the whole digital camera thing. If I was having to buy film or pay to develop it, there is no way I’d be able to afford to take a whole bunch of shots in order to pick out a few good ones. All that said, someday I would really love to learn how to do whatever it is that you do to make your pictures so fabulous, still on a digital camera, but a fancier kind.
Nothing happier than happy doggies!

I love the third one of the dog! He has the cutest expression on his face.
I like how your photos are bordered in black, too. I think it makes them look really cool ;-)

It’s so nice and bright and light where you live, Mishelle. That’s one of the drawbacks about the beautiful Pacific Northwest - our days are often dark and drizzly. A bright blue sky is a rarity at this time of year for us.
What I meant to say was, I love all the LIGHT in these pictures!

Oh…I love the doggy pictures. The more candid the better in my book. Sadie was the name I always wanted to name a daughter, but I got outvoted. I’m holding out and plan “someday” to name a Newf Sadie.

Well, I’m no photographer, but it seems to me that your effortless photos are pretty damned good. I particularly like the one of the two dogs at the door.

Those are great. sometimes it’s nice to let the camera do the work instead of vice versa!
