Project 365 (206ab/365)
Yesterday was a doozie. From bad weather, sad news, long drives, to belly aches. The day ended in us acquiring another dog. It’s temporary, though. Michael’s mom needed us to doggysit her puppy whom shares a name with our beloved lab, Sadie.
Let’s sum this up: 2 adults + 4 kids + 3 dogs = A Whole Lotta Crazy!
Summer does not like Sadie #2 and Sadie #1 doesn’t really want to be bothered. She’s too old to play, but she used to be able to throw down some funk, back in her day. Davey’s cool as long as someone’s tail is wagging. He’s also feeling tons better!
You see Michael over there? He spent the late morning/early afternoon calling around to find a van for us to buy. I think by mid-week I will be driving something really nice! Can’t wait. Riding in style, here we come… My daydreaming is finally coming true! Now if only my good-hair-everyday-daydream would!

Yes, we are ok, but my mother-in-law’s husband’s daughter passed away. :(
aw, sorry to hear about the bad news…and the apparent five bazillion doggies you’re housing. that seems like it’d be quite a LOT of kibble.
hope the van comes soon- then you can get in it, crank the tunes, and inhale that “new car smell” till it’s safe to go back inside the house!

We tried to play foster parents to a monster Lab once, had to find another temp home when we discovered the brute could jump over our six-foot privacy fence, from a stand start. Congrats on the impending van… hope your day gets better.
