Truthfulness in Self-Photography:
There are many pictures in my 365 that are very well calculated, angled, adjusted, and what not. There are also others that are very “au natural”.
This morning Lotus posted a few pictures of herself upon first waking. This was spurred by a post from Sweetney (cool new blog read, for sure). So, I had to woman up and do it! Here I am, late this morning, in my most natural state. Oh look! My hair is all weird from the constant running through of my fingers; or is it the cereal bar remnants that Davey put in there while he was trying to fall asleep, rubbing my hair? No flattering angle (I know you see the double chin). Overdue for an eyebrow and mustache wax, and if you could see the RAW file, you’d see the slew of chin hairs I’m sporting. I’m not wearing a bra, either, but you ain’t seein’ that, yo! I’m not that cruel.
