Haiku Friday

There is one week left
Then we will say our goodbyes
Friendship across miles
It’s never easy
To move away from
Comfort that is known
Just as flowers bloom
So will new chapters of life
For my dear, true friend
Tonight we’ll raise glass
Toasting to friendship and life
To remember love

I hope you guys have a great time raising the wine glasses and laughing it up.. this was a great ku!!
That’s beautiful. Enjoy tonight. Thankfully there are so many easier ways to stay in touch these days where distance used to get so much more in the way. Cheers to friendship!

Balancing Hops
Great picture. A good friend of mine moved away last year. It is hard and I miss her but as others before me have said, there are such easy ways to keep in touch that it isn’t quite as devastating these days. Still hard though. Have fun tonight!
The few times I have read /stumbled upon your blog I have felt such positive energy. I can feel the heartfelt sentiment in your Ku. I know how hard it is to leave a true friend. It can be more heartwrenching than leaving a lover. Best wishes on your new adventure.
‘Parting is such sweet sorrow’ … I hope you enjoy the remainder of your time together.
Lovely ‘Ku and photo. Happy Easter!
Hugs and blessings,
Now you can be “vacation destinations” for one another. Lovely “ku, too. :)
