100 Words: Spark

Posted on April 9, 2008 by Mishelle | 5 Comments

Hey, thanks for meeting me today.  This coffee’s good, isn’t it?  I  did wake up with a headache, but knew that we were going to see each other and it almost instantly cleared.   I’ve missed you.

What’s new with me?  Everything!  Life is good.  Sure I don’t have enough money to buy that new pair of shoes, but these shoes I’m wearing are still a good fit.

I know that life can sometimes get away from us, but we need to make more time for our friendship.  I miss your spark, your zest, your smile.  Let’s do this again.  Soon!

These are always so delicious, Mishi!

I was lovin’ on your whole picture taking photography thing today in one spot when I posted on my blog because you are just so darn creative and talented. You inspire me.

Love it Mishelle, I am sure VV will love that it is not a poem this week. I am still working on mine, hoping to have it ready for tomorrow. Need a creative spark yet :)

  3. Judith Shakespeare Says:

Fabulous piece! Makes me want to ask all about the friend and about the relationship and whether or not you met again soon…

  4. Mishelle Says:

I actually wrote this taking snipets from a few different friendships. Some that have past, some that are constant, and some that will never be again.

Ah yes, friendship. This is something that I’ve had to cultivate in recent years. I moved so much growing up that I got into a terrible habit of “moving on”. I’ve learned so much about love from friends and I would never want to lose that.
