Weekly Winners XXII
Twenty-one weeks in! Wow. It’s been such an amazing journey. I’ve definitely felt much growth while taking pictures to showcase for my winners, but most importantly I have reclaimed my love for an art that had been dormant for more than a few years. Sure I’d continued to take pictures of the kids, the dogs, events, and gatherings; but, that was it. Experimenting with different subject matters has been very fascinating and enjoyable.
I wanted to take the time to thank everyone who comes by every week to see what I have to show. I appreciate your compliments and have taken them to heart, fully. I also want to give a special thanks Lotus for putting Weekly Winners out there.
This week I also got to take some pictures of my girlfriends’ children. I really can’t wait to do more work like that.
I’ve opened up a separate blog called “Mishelle Lane Photography“. I’m not quite sure where it’s going, but my ultimate hope is that this hobby of mine can become just a little bit lucrative. Even if not, I’m vowing to have fun, every click of the way…

I agree… Weekly Winners is about the best bloggy thing that’s happened to me. I LOVE it!
As for this week’s photos, dear SAM, I think the “naptime” photo and “twinkle toes” are my favorites. But they’re all awesome, as usual.
All gorgeous, once again. Sounds like doing the Winners is having a similar effect on you as it is me. So awesome. I can’t even pick a favorite. OK, fine, Starbuck’s. After that, they are all equally fabulous and excellent, like you ;)
So many good ones this week! How can I choose a favorite?
I love the jumping ones and the angle of the football one. Hmmm . . . I think the salon one is my favorite because of the colors and the composition.
I’ll add your other blog to my list of Best Blog Buddies, so I’ll remember to check it often.
I also want to say that Weekly Winners is my favorite time! Both for myself and looking at others’! I look forward to cruising the weekly winners route every week to see everyone’s photos! I love those haircut photos and the nap on the couch! Too precious! The little toe shot is great too!

Nap time and the coffee are my favorites this week. Would you believe I’ve only been to Starbucks once? :P
Your photography comments…me too. I find myself constantly looking around and saying, “That would be a great shot!”
Anyway…too many good shots to pick just one (AGAIN), but Starbucks seems to be calling to me!

I fully agree with you, ever since I started doing Weekly Winners, my passion for photography has grown, my skills have improved, and I find that I’m looking for pretty pictures everywhere I go! We even go out on photostrolls, to capture pretty things and share them! You make the most amazing pictures, I have always been a great fan of your photography! Your photoblog is very good I think, keep it up!
