I *loved* Shel Silverstein. I still remember bunches of his poems and have a fancy version of The Giving Tree, one of the best books, ever. I knew you were cool.
Silverstein was one of my daughter’s all time favorite authors. The last SS book I bought for her was “Runny Babbit.” Thanks for bringing back some fun memories for me.
