Best Shots: New Additions
For Mikey and Livey’s birthdays my parents wanted to get the kids a Wii. We’ve been without any kind of play station forever, but finally decided to let them get this new system for them. They were through-the-roof-happy, since every kid (they believe) needs to have something like this. We’re already horrible parents for not having any TV for them. Well, the Wii is hard to come. While visiting my dad gave each of the kids a “check” for $50. He told them that they could cash it in or take it to Toys R Us. Fifty Dollars. Toys R Us? Cash? Hmmmmmm.. The kids all screamed in unison, “TOYS R US”, and off we went.
As we approached the door I saw the sign. “Look, Ma! They have Wii,” I chimed.
“I see that,” she retorted.
“You should probably get it if it’s available,” I said to her and off she went toward Electronics while my dad and I took the kids to their desired toy isles.
Turns out that my mom got one of the last two systems there.
Yesterday we went and got some extra remotes, wheels, and num-chucks. The fun has begun. Wii!!!!!!!!!

On the way home, on Saturday, Michael informed me that he had a surprise for me. I was convinced that he got the patio furniture I had been wanting, but–alas–we got this instead:
I was totally dreading mowing the grass in the hot Georgia summer. Not anymore, yo! I will be riding in style on my new riding mower. Wee!!!!!!!!!!!

We love the Wii here! Only have 2 paddles and such as they are so pricey though :(

Wii is so much fun and it involves EVERYBODY – not just the kids. And I don’t believe it!! A woman that actually LIKES the fact that she got a riding mower. Be still my beating heart!
i’m sure they were ecstatic! Every kids dream at the moment about Wiis, except mine and the longer it stays like that the better ;)

Wow! New toys for everyone :) Wii’s are a blast…and riding mowers are lifesavers!
i’ve heard insanely fun things about the cooking game. that being said, i haven’t played anything since the star wars lego on ps2, so i’m out of the loop.
but, man, have fun on the mower.
My hubby loves the Wii.. we don’t own it..but I have played numerous times and it really is a blast..
