100 Words: Against
I had this strange dream the other night:
Running, sweaty, and completely out of breath, I found myself turning around often. I kept looking back with this expression of dread and worry. I kept thinking, leave me alone, let me be, stop making me run; yet still, I ran. I looked back one last time and saw this huge rush of water coming toward me. Immediately I stopped running, dropped to my knees. Then as the water surrounded me, sweet relief. The water against my body was cold and refreshing. I swam in the water, never once worrying or looking back.
I simply let the current carry me forward.

Love it! I enjoyed the change, the relaxation, the surrender.

Words. Art. Photos . . . you just so GET it . . .
Huh, interesting dream. A metaphor, I would guess, for how we often think we need to run, to be afraid, when in fact what we are running from is exactly what we need.
Did you unpack it? The dream I mean. Do you know what it means for you? I’d be interested to hear.
The imagery on this one was great! I really liked it!
VV, from what I gather from various interpretation sites on the web, I am running from some issue that will ultimately get me to a higher position in life. Also, there are certain anxieties in certain circumstances in my life (the worried/dreadful look on my face).
The water symbolizes my emotional state of mind.
I can apply this dream to many aspects of life. I just think it’s quite symbolic of the journey I have taken as a person, the growth, the confusion, the emotions, the peace of mind, the rejuvination.
I enjoy the really vivid dreams (well, usually) where you can feel the coolness of the rain, or the sweat running down your brow.
