Peace cannot be achieved through violence, it can only be attained through understanding.
—Ralph Waldo Emerson

We look forward to the time when the Power of Love will replace the Love of Power. Then will our world know the blessings of peace.
—William Ewart Gladstone

Let there be peace on earth
And let it begin with me.

—Seymour Miller & Jill Jackson, “Let There Be Peace on Earth,” 1955

Five great enemies to peace inhabit with us: avarice, ambition, envy, anger, and pride. If those enemies were to be banished, we should infallibly enjoy perpetual peace.
—Francesco Petrarch

From the quotes that you have posted, this is what I love best:

We look forward to the time when the Power of Love will replace the Love of Power. Then will our world know the blessings of peace.
    —William Ewart Gladstone

I truly believe in that! When our hearts are filled with love, if we look at people without judgement, and if we take responsibility for our own selves and not blame others, then truly we will achieve peace.
