Project 365 (306/365)

Posted on June 24, 2008 by Mishelle | 11 Comments

Things I accomplished today:

  1. Ate a nutritious breakfast consisting of a granola bar
  2. Clipped both dogs nails
  3. Sorted some laundry
  4. Admonished dogs for stealing Davey’s graham crackers, repeatedly
  5. Played with textures in Photoshop and even put up a finished product over at my other blog
  6. Rug Doctored the carpets [after Benjamin puked up apple juice and crackers; not just ordinary in-a-puddle-in-one-place-puke, rather puke spewed from the mouth which is covered by the hands that lands in hundreds of little droplets ALL OVER THE CARPETED LIVING ROOM]
  7. Cleaned up the poor little puke boy who audaciously asked, “Am I punished?”
  8. Played some fantastic tunes for the kids
  9. Ate a black bean, tomato, and cheese burrito for dunch/linner/dupper/whatever meal that is and craved tequila

The day is complete. Or at least I hope it is.

    FUN!

But I didn’t see the photo until I finished the text. That was funny… :)

  2. Jana Says:

Oh man Mishi…you totally get the award for busiest Mom of the day!!

Love the shot of the Rug Doc.btw!

    How’s Benny feeling tonight?

  3. pete Says:

That’s a great photo! Perfect angle and DoF. Hope the little one gets better soon.

  4. Burgh Baby's Mom Says:

Rug Doctor is the bomb, but having wood floors is better. I do not miss scrubbing puke out of carpet, that’s for sure!

I hope Benjamin’s feeling better soon! Nobody likes puke. Nobody.

  5. Marge Says:

I loves me some power tools. Rug Doctor is not on my favs list however.

    Feel better little one.

  6. Diane Says:

Oh, your poor little guy. Doesn’t it just break your heart when they say stuff like that.

You are indeed one busy mama!

  7. PG Says:

we just got through 24 hour period that included, oh… about 12 puke sessions divvied up amongst the 3 big kids. Good times, huh?

    Nice shot though!

and I must confess I am starting to feel sadness when I see each day with a 300-something/365 title….. How about a Project 730?

  8. Mishi Says:

I’m happy to report that no more pukes have visited us today. Mikey won’t eat anything, for fear of puking. He’d rather puke water and dry-heave if that’s what is in his future. LOL That kid will avoid puking, at all costs, even if it means not eating for a day or two.

PG: I will be doing something daily after the project. I’m still working out the kinks, but I don’t imagine it will be much different from the 365!

Oh, and how’s this for adding to busy. Mikey and Benny watched a movie and I took a walk with my neighbor friend! We are committed to taking a walk every night.

  9. LaskiGal Says:

Awe . . . puking just sucks! Poor guy :(

Yay for the walk and for committing to YOU!!!

  10. ohmommy Says:

You are such a BUSY mama!

  11. Ann Says:

Awwww….I hate to hear he is sick! That is just is just so miserable, puking and such! I hope he gets over it quickly!
