What a great memory and I love the shot. My childhood candy bar of choice. Twin Dings. Cherry nugget surrounded by peanut-ty chocolate.

That was some coffee you just treated me to! I enjoyed the rest of the posts ( I missed them because I was in London) - while drinking it!
Lovely memory, and the previous posts, like the christening, they will be the memories of the future! Loved the " family watching closely".
They always do, don't they?

Oooh...we didn't do the Ontario bakery, but we went over the Peace Bridge many a time for (beer) trips to the cottage (and beer)...and always alway always I had to get Smarties, Canadian style. Oy, M&M's made w/ Canadian chocolate...pastels and bigger then M&M's...yummm. We'd also get Aero's just for the fun of saying we had a candy bar of air. And then we'd leave the cottage and grab some more (beer) candy...and head on home and go to Pumpernick 'N Pastry for good polish bread (Placek). *sigh* Ah, those were the days. My brother likes to reminisce about going to the liquor store and watching the cases of beer rolled out to us on the lines of rollers...the fantasies of boys ;)
