Project 365: Fini
At the end of this 365 journey I have been asked repeatedly Will you do this again?
To answer that question Yes, I will continue to take pictures. Yes, I will continue to blog. But, no, I will not be doing Project 365 again.
Maybe another year, down the road, I will jump with both feet into a 365, but subsequently I will not do the same thing. I will, however, be doing another project. It will be something totally different, and something that will bring my world and how I see, through my lens, to this blog.
I’ve also been dying to participate in the the Self Portrait Challenge. I thought it would be redundant to do it during Project 365. Now that it’s over, though, I am free to take the challenge. Actually, this past week I did my interpretation of the current theme over at SPC; the theme was SHINE. I thought it quite apropos. This past year I feel that I have shined greatly. That might be presumptuous, but it’s how I feel. My confidence, my emotions, my photographic skills, my loves, my aches, my attributes, my e v e r y t h i n g has sparkled!
I thank you for being part of Project 365. Your comments have always made me feel awesome, and I’ve loved knowing that–in some way–I have made people feel welcome.
Stay tuned for more. I promise it will be just as cool and spectacular!

A rousing standing ovation from this corner of the blogosphere!!!
Wow!!! Congratulations!!!
I admire that in a person, the will to finish what they have started! I have often wondered myself, I’m also doing a 365 project, and I have been in doubt whether I would continue to post every day or not. But I’m still going strong, I post every day on my Belgian blog ( in Dutch) as well you know! It’s people like you that give me the strenght to go on!
But I am looking forward to whatever is next!
Well done for completing the challenge!
Wow! How accomplished (and free!) you must feel now! That’s just awesome Mishi! I also love that shot. I’ve tried to take some of me like that but they never turn out that well.
Congratulations!
Congratulations! I’ve really enjoyed this series and am looking forward to whatever it is that you do next!!!
You have my complete and utter admiration for sticking with something for an entire year. I’m still trying to master this sticktoit-tiveness at the one-month level. Your skill and unique perspective from behind the lens has been a real inspiration to me and I am looking forward to THE NEXT BIG THING. :) Congrats!
Congrats on completing the one year project! Looking forward to what’s in store for us!
wow! I love “slanted” and “growth” and all the ones of the old car and the last one!! awesome!!
Love ya chick!
Congrats to you Mishi for actually sticking with it the WHOLE time. I’m proud of you. I would’ve been by earlier, but I took a mini-break. I loved the rusted truck picture. It really conveys age.
I still am sooo blown away that you were able to be a mom, a wife, a friend, home school teacher but yet you are so amazingly talented behind the lens and you were able to share those photos with us.
Your photos are inspiring.. you are amazing.
Congratulations on your accomplishment, SAM! Your work is truly inspirational. ThanX for sharing this eXcellent adventure. Can’t wait to see what you do neXt…
