You are bruised
Fallen and old
Yet your beauty remains
Embraced
Held up to the sky
In pure perfection
Glowing beyond this realm
Enshrined
Your preserved splendor
Ensures that memories will not fail
This assortment of intensity
Endless

I want to crawl inside your mind and stay for a while.
Learn, absorb.. be blessed by all that is the Mishi.
Damn woman. I’m not even talented enough to comment.
Beautiful, Mish.
Gorgeous photo and words. HLT!
Beautiful! That’s about all I can come up with lol
PS: I want to thank you for showing Matt the love. It really boosts his ego =)
I’m a failure at poetry and yet I love it, even write it sometimes. I’m wondering, real wonder from a silly woman, “Your preserved splendor
Ensures that memories will not fail
This assortment of intensity
Endless.”
If this is the case, how come I feel older? What is it that is ensuring my slendor? Is it memory of me? Someone else’s experience of me? And how can I maintian intensity?
What? The poem’s not about me? Pshaw.
Really though, I am curious.
OH, and do you use a tripod to get the low light level shots at restaurants? See? So curious.
WiaW:
It’s actually about autumn, but it can be about you (general you,) if so desired. Maybe it can be interpreted different ways for different folks. :)
As for the low-light levels in restaurants: I prefer to use fill flash as I do not have a tripod in my camera bag. I’ve learned the lesson, the hard way, that bumping up the iso in a low-light condition is wayyyyyyyyyy worse than not using flash (when it comes to quality of the picture)
Beautiful image, and stunning poetry! I’m in awe again
Pure perfection!
That photo and poem are absolutely amazing!
