Lip Watch

Angioedema, also known by Quincke’s edema, is the rapid swelling of the dermis subcutaneous tissue and submucosal tissues. It is very similar to urticaria, but urticaria occurs in the upper dermis.

I have narrowed down this reaction to two things:
1) Laffy Taffy (insane quantities of, at that,) and/or
2) My New Vitamin

Regardless, this week has not been fun. I have not been able to make out, like a horny teenager, with my husband. And this would have been the week for making out, since I’ve been introduced to new vampires, via HBO’s True Blood series! Last night when I looked in the mirror, before bed, I was on the verge of tears.

(Avert eyes if the least bit squeamish)

Footnote:  In the minutes that it’s taken me to compose this post my lip has gone down some.  Dare I jinx myself and say that this is almost over.

To Be Continued…
