Ok dude....somehow your feed changed and I missed the memo. I have been wondering where you have been, but you have been here all along!

I am such a Twilight fan and I have seen the movie um twice now. I read all 4 books in like 10 days and I miss every bit of them.

Ok back to the movie...I am with you on everything you said. Jasper looked kind of Edward Scissorhands-ish and I laughed out loud at him too :)

Jacob was too pretty and a little feminine, but Edward and Bella were perfect so it made up for it. Eric being Asian threw me off too, because he looked totally different in my head, and Mike wasn't right either.

One thing you didn't mention was the Cullen's house. What was up with that I say?

And yes the kiss....still gives me a tingly feeling

Thanks for the review, Mishi! I am so jealous you got a date night. I want to see Twilight BADLY, but will have to wait till it's out on DVD, methinks.

BTW, I bought all the books in a box set after your book post - I cruised through them and just finished Breaking Dawn yesterday. Thanks for turning me on to Stephenie Meyer! I probably never would have read the series without your recommendation.

I saw it opening night. I actually thought of you while I was sitting there, waiting for it to start! "I wonder if Mishi is doing the same thing right now." I thought I would love it, but I didn't. It was alright I guess. Nothing is as ever as good as the books. I thought that, without the character development you get in the books, it would be nearly impossible to accept their "love" just based off of the movie. Everything happened so quickly in the movie!

It's funny how people interpret things differently...so here are my responses to your comments...
-I was so worried, at the start of the movie, when they introduced the Cullens and their makeup was HORRIFIC! I seriously think it looked like a five year old did their makeup, especially Carlisle's. It looked so fake and I was immediately upset by that....the cheesiness of it. But, I think they did that at the beginning to "send the message" and their makeup got better as the movie went on...much less fake looking.
-Charlie didn't look at all like I pictured him. I guess I pictured him a little older than what the actor playing his was. When we are first introduced to Billy...Billy and Charlie kind of mock fight in the background while Jacob and Bella are talking, pretending to throw punches at each other and such....I thought that was way off too. I thought: "Charlie and Billy would SO not do that!"
-The actor that played Jacob is going to have to beef up A LOT for the next movie. (I'm assuming there is going to be a next one). I'm sure it's difficult to find Native American actors though.
-Robert Pattinson is HOT!! He's so much younger than me, but I would love to show him a good time! Maybe I could teach him a thing or two. ;o)
