The Pearls of the Past
There’s a time and a place
Where we exist
Just you and me
And this reference of time
There’s a moment
A glimmer of then
The gazing of now
There’s a time and a place
Where we are one
Just you and me
And this embracing thirst
There’s an inquiry of being
As beams are crossed
Two become one
There’s a time and a place
Where we are allowed
Just you and me
And this palpable desire
That is the past.
This is now.
