1956 & 2007
It’s my mother’s birthday today. I’ve texted her, called her, and even sent her a birthday card–in the mail–which will totally arrive later this week because I’m always, always, always late with cards. Later on we’ll skype her a birthday song. She doesn’t read this blog, but I like to think that if she did she would like it. Maybe someday I will share the link. Maybe.
Another mother is celebrating a birthday today, too; a birthday for her beloved little angel named Madeline. I wish my friend and her husband much peace today as I send a zillion purple birthday wishes up to heaven in her honor.
