This is What My Week Looks Like
Yesterday: FAIL
He held it for a long time in the morning. And he held it mainly TO NOT go in the potty. We spent a lot of time in the kitchen, on the kitchen floor. So, by early afternoon I put another diaper on him thinking, he’s not ready.
But… he.held.it.the.whole.morning.
Today: TAKE TWO
Yesterday I got some [knock off] Pull Ups. Maybe he needs the security of the feeling of a diaper? We’ll see.

When they are ready it goes really quickly. Good luck :)
What does that t-shirt say? My Mom…?
It says, “My Mom … Kicks Harder Than Your Mom”
Good luck! Boys can be so ornery about potty training.
Ain’t that the truth!
I do not envy you this struggle! :)
My son would hold it too! The only thing that helped was when he realized it was easier to poo in the toilet! Less pain {he’d hold until he couldn’t hold any longer}. Otherwise, just every half hour, sit on the toilet. For several month after, when he’d hear an egg timer go off, he’d run to the bathroom and pee, LOL!
Ohhh a timer! I may use that tomorrow.
It seriously worked. About a week of it, and he was able to do it by himself, two weeks later, he asked for no pull-up overnight! :)
Wait. Wait until you go in the bathroom and find sea pickles floating (or sunk, as the case may be) in there and NO SIGN OF TOILET PAPER HAVING BEEN USED. Try having THAT conversation.
Oh, I’m sure it’s gonna happen sooner than later. Remember my two older boys are 12 & 9!
Trade ya!

Cute pictures! My little one was working on potty training – hit and miss. The weekend of Blissdom my husband trained him (how awesome is that?). He did the No Pants Weekend method. Nekkid from the waist down, except a pull up to sleep in. Takes 3 days but it works!
Cute potty :) But I really don’t envy you at all. Hope it happens quickly
We’re in the same place right now… I’m freaking exhausted, dude. Oy.
