Weekly Winners {The Dog Days of Winter Edition}
“People’s dreams are made out of what they do all day. The same way a dog that runs after rabbits will dream of rabbits. It’s what you do that makes your soul, not the other way around.”

Davey is getting so big. I love that second shot of him, he looks so excited.
There’s a whole series on Flickr from his birthday cake celebration. :)
Those last two pictures are stunning!! Love the expression on the doggies face…like “just leave me alone.”
Davey looks wonderfully excited! So glad he had a fun birthday!!!
All the kids were sick during Christmas and his birthday, but he did have a nice day. And, when they got better we went out for Chinese!!
YAY! Beautiful.
I love the picture of your dog. Every time I try to get a shot of ours, she gets all hyper and up in my face and moving a mile a minute. I’m all “SIT! STAY! DON’T LICK YOURSELF!!!” but she ignores me. That or she has selective hearing – which, by the way, goes into bionic mode whenever I say {treat}. She could hear that from down the block.
Anyway, gorgeous pictures.
What do you shoot with, by the way?
Thank you!
Summer’s just an old, old girl. :)
I shoot with a Canon 5DMII and these were all shot using my 85mm f/1.8.
Love the vibrant colors of the wreath and delight on Davey’s face over his birthday cake.
Love the look on Davey’s face. That last shot is beautiful
I must kiss your dog on the forehead at some point in my life.
Must.
You must come to Atlanta!
I hope Davey had a wonderful birthday!
Gorgeous shots! I love the vibrant colours!
Looks like you had a lovely holiday!
Happy New Year friend!
How is it that they are both already 4 years old? Gah.
