39 Week Appointment! ::news::

Well, I’m 39 weeks and 2 days (but who’s counting!?).

I went in for the appointment ready to ask to have my membranes swept or to be sent for an induction or SOMETHING but my OB was in surgery. We waited around (had lunch and drove around the city looking at all the cool houses) and went back at 1:30 to talk to him. He was all like, “I don’t want to induce you unless it’s medically necessary.” Once I reminded him that each baby was born one pound bigger than the previous he found his “medical necessity”. LOL

I will be going in for an induction on Friday, December 29th at 5am UNLESS the baby comes before then! I’m nervous but happy that I will have the baby very soon. I have no problem with being induced but would have liked to go on my own. I still have a couple days and it very well could happen; I’m 1cm dilated and 80% effaced. Time will tell.

Bring on the baby….and a NAME…finally!! lol
