u certainly deserve to be a finalist in the 2009 Weblog Awards! your pics are fantastic!
What a wonderful way to illustrate chipped. Well-loved and well-used.
Here are my views of chipped. Have a great weekend!
i really love that little train! :)
Nothing like chips in a book…signs of love :-)
These are very nice macro images, and great contributions to this week’s PhotoHunt. You do very nice work with the camera.
I went with a monochrome version of the theme for this week.
Great take on the theme. I didn’t think about the chipped ends of books. I have plenty of them but it didn’t cross my mind. I like the perspective you used, too.
If you have time, please check out my photo hunt for the week.
JyLnC’s Chipped
Lovely pictures, as always. Never thought of chipped books and I have a lot of those. The train is just adorable.
nice photos! :)
Those are both unique takes on today’s theme.
Books+chip= classic
Great take!
Nice pictures :)
How do you make a stack of old books into art?
I’ll tell you – photog genuis.
Great choices.
Good photos! I love your photography.
I did Photo Hunters today, too. I hope you get a chance to visit.

Such poignant photos. The well-loved Thomas trains really warm my heart.
I hope you have time to drop by my photohunt post this weekend — I’m teaming up with Quaker Oats and Share Our Strength in their campaign against childhood hunger in the US.
The photo of the books is excellent. The angle is perfect. I wouldn’t have thought of the chipped dog-ears of a book but it is a really neat interpretation of this week’s theme. And congratulations on the bloggies nomination. Very well deserved.
Just perfect!
Aww Thomas the train looks loved, maybe chipped, but loved! My hunt is up, please come and visit
Damn!!! You’re so good! :-)
Have a great weekend!
My post…
Interesting take..wouldn’t have thought of it and a great pic

chipped books and toys..sign of use and fun :)
