Picture It Outside of the Box {Week 5}
This task of choosing five to feature is HARD, yo! Really hard. Especially when every. single. submission. is awesome!
Thank you for playing along, and I hope you continue to come back. I also would encourage you to visit the other participants, because there are some awesome photographers sharing their art work!
Here are five submissions from last week’s bokeh challenge:
by Eva, Grey Street Girl
by Tara, If Mom Says OK
by Robin, Pensieve
by Rachel, A Southern Fairytale
The challenge for {Week 5} of “Picture It Outside of the Box” is:
{Shoot Up A Tree}
If you visit my Flickr stream in the fall you will see that I am majorly obsessed with trees and leaves. One of my favorite things to do is get really close up against a tree, focus, and shoot. I usually use a big aperture (like 1.4 – 2.8). But, again, the interpretation of this challenge is left to you. I’d love to see what you come up with!
Here are a couple of examples of my work:
The Challenge: How It Works
- Each week, on Friday, I announce the “Picture It Outside of the Box” photo challenge theme.
- You can submit a photo for the theme by the following THURSDAY. Enter your direct link (to your blog post with the photo in it or your photo on Flickr) in the thumbnail McLinky Tool at the bottom of the post. Keep in mind the linky-loo will close down on Thursday at 12:00 AM EST.
- FIVE submissions from my readers will be showcased on Friday, and the new theme will then be revealed.
- Basically: you play along, you have fun, we show each other our awesome photos, we share inspiration….it’s a win-win situation!
- Visiting fellow photo challenge players is highly encouraged!
Ready. Set. Shoot.
