Simple and Effective Beauty Tips for Every Woman
Having just spent a weekend at BlogHer in New York City I wanted to write about what I do to take care of myself, and how these steps help me put my best foot forward. I think these simple tips are easy to overlook, especially when adhering to the busy schedule of a conference. I firmly believe these are also good to remember in our day-to-day lives whether we work a 9-5 or interact, hosting a party, or just hanging with other moms on the playground or at the PTA.
1) Get enough rest and hydration. Both of these are so important and can really make a difference in the way you feel. And, that will definitely help your confidence thus making you feel more
2) Wear clothes that fit. When they are too big you feel sloppy and not put together. When they are too small you feel self conscious. Embrace your body—no matter if it’s big or small—and wear clothes that fit.
3) Spice up your wardrobe with accessories. A cool pair of earrings, an awesome belt, a scarf, a big necklace—they can definitely add a unique level to a basic outfit.
4) Use deodorant on your feet. Yes! deodorant on your feet. I learned this a day too late. Doing it can really help save you from some major blisters, especially if you are walking, say, eleventy-gabillion New York City blocks in heels.
5) Pay attention to your posture, make eye contact, and smile. These are probably the easiest things to forget, yet the most simple things to do to that will allow you to exude confidence and beauty.
