Weekly Winners {Photo Shoot at Amicalola Falls}
Yesterday, I came full circle; if you will.
Two years ago, this month, I had the pleasure of photographing a certain family. They were the first to be put in my professional portfolio. These photos (the ones I took yesterday) have so much meaning to me because it really shows how much I have grown as a photographer. I believe I’ve grown in all areas—composition, technique, and editing. That? Make me feel a sense of fulfillment. It also reinforces that I am on the right path.
We met at Amicalola Falls, and I—of course—had to capture some of our surroundings before, during, and after the photo session.

What a gorgeous location! The photos are beautiful!
Wonderful as usual darling. What a gorgeous family!!
The family portraits are wonderful, you captured such beautiful memories.
(the snail? That was a lovely surprise.)
Sweet, sweet shots. Loved the snail, too! :)
BEAUTIFUL shots!!
Each and every shot is amazing. From the wonderful little snail to the gorgeous scenery and the beautiful family. As always, I bow to your amazing abilities :)
We were at Amicalola Falls a couple of weeks ago. I took some of the same shots (reflections, leaves in water). I edited them this morning, but haven’t put them on Flickr yet. :)
These are lovely!
So so beautiful. And, you inspire me as well. I am just starting off with my photography business (I’ve yet to earn a single dollar but I’ve done 8 shoots so far!) and I hope to continue to grow and improve. Reading how you can reflect back and see your progress makes me hope that I’ll be able to do that someday. I think the biggest thing for me, though, is that it helps me believe that I can do it. That I, too, can last 2 years and still be going strong. That I, too, will someday be able to inspire someone who’s just beginning photography.
Thank you.
Mishi, you’re such a talent! I wish you lived near me – I would love to have you capture our family like you’ve done here. What a gorgeous family – and beautiful series.
Stunning! What a beautiful spot for a shoot!!
Well, I’m speechless.
(as always)
Mish, I can feel the crisp coldness in the air, smell the dank earthy musty smell of the fallen leaves and I’m speechless and envious.’
